Abstract
This work has been carried out to investigate:1- Spectrophotometric determination of psedoephedrine hydrochloride (PSE.HCl) drug in pure and pharmaceutical preparations through the ion-pair formation reaction with some dyestuffs such as bromophenol blue (BPB) and bromocresol purple (BCP) reagents. 2- Development of carbon paste ion-selective electrode for the determination of PSE.HCl drug. The work has focused on the preparation of home made carbon paste and testing the performance of such paste in the fabrication of carbon paste electrodes (CPEs) for the potentiometric determination of PSE.HCl in pure and pharmaceutical preparations
