Abstract

In an increasingly competitive and high-risk environment that does not just require a quality management system; it also requires a proactive management to deal with the threats and opportunities through risk management tools, in order to ensure the continuity, development and improvement of business. For the reasons stated; in this study, it is aimed to integrate risk and quality management through the implementation of risk management requirements according to ISO 9001-2015, at Vital Konzept (our case study company) quality management system and demonstrate its role of improving the performance of productive projects in quality management system applied in VK. The descriptive analytical approach was used, and the reliance on the case study method was used to determine closely the extent of its impact on quality management. This thesis focuses on highlighting the impact of risk management on improving the quality management system results and performance. The study aimed to reveal the extent of its impact on the dimensions of quality management through the implementation of risk management principles on process efficiency, resource efficiency, decrease nonconformance reports (NCRs) (internal audits and external audits), and increasing CSI. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher designed a questionnaire as a study tool that was prepared for this purpose to examine the viewpoint of the study sample and to collect data from the study population of 207 employees working for Vital Concept, after applying the requirements of risk management in Vital Concept, where the study sample consisted of 135 engineers from design, project management and construction supervision department working in the main headquarters and on sites
