Abstract Cancer is considered one of the most significant diseases with a high frequency and mortality rate in which treatment is a huge challenge (1). The number of cancer related deaths was 10 million worldwide in 2020 (2). Cancer results from uncontrolled cell development and discrimination with loss of apoptotic functions leading to a massive growth in neoplastic cells population (3, 4). There are many causes of cancer either internal or external ones (5). Internal causes of cancer are lack of apoptotic function, genetic mutations, oxidative stress, and hypoxia. Whereas external factors of cancer may be linked to too much exposure to ultraviolet rays, radiation, pollution, smoking, and stress. |
