المستخلص The current study aimed at identifying the relationship between personality traits and achievement motivation and social efficiency with their various dimensions, and identifying the differences between both genders in scientific and literary specializations of students of the faculty of Education during The Covid-19 epidemic, and the study also aimed to predict the achievement motivation and social efficiency through personality traits. The sample of the study were (400) male and female students from third and forth levels students at scientific and literary specializations at faculty of education, Mansoura university. Instruments of the study included achievement motivation and social efficiency scales (prepared by researcher) and the list of the five big factors of Costa & McCrae (1992), translated by Badr Al-Ansari(1997).The results of study showed that there were a positive statistically significant relationship between the students’scores on the dimensions of achievement motivation scale and the dimensions of the social efficiency scale and between their scores in self-awareness, extroversion, self-confidence, openness to experience, and there was a negative statistically significant relationship between students’ scores on the achievement motivation scale and the social efficiency scale and between their grades In (neuroticism). There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of male students and those of female students at the Faculty of Education in all dimensions of personality traits during the Covid-19 pandemic except neuroticism, which had statistically significant differences in favor of females. There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of male students and those of female students at the Faculty of Education in all dimensions of achievement motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic, except the dimension of challenge, which had statistically significant differences in favor of males. There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of male and female students of the faculty of Education in the total degree of social efficiency in favor of males. |
