Abstract Chronic ulcer is a common infectious skin disease, characterized by a long-term wound that does not heal and local bacterial infections, so chronic ulcers constitute a serious public health problem associated with high morbidity and mortality. They are classified by etiology into four categories, each with its own typical location, depth, and appearance:arterial, diabetic, pressure, and venous ulcers. chronicity is often the result of an underlying medical condition such as diabetes, blood flow disorders or a delayed clinical presentation. Long persisting infected wounds cause morbidity and suffering and are typically associated with large expenditures, e.g.,on medication and affect economic productivity. |
