The attempt to reach a printed work of art from a flat surface had a great impact in this study, as the remarkable technological development that occurred in this technique helped many artists of the artistic edition to produce artworks of high artistic and plastic value, and with the emergence of technology (from the computer to the printing plate) (CTP) - which came after the experiences of many art print artists in an attempt to obtain an illustrated and digitally prepared print surface - enables artists to obtain a breakthrough artwork using the digital revolution. Chapter I: The Concept of Traditional lithograph Printing through the Ages: In it, the researcher dealt with the emergence of flat lithography by German character “Alois Senefelder”, then the technical development that occurred on lithography machines, followed by that American type “William Bullock”, came the countries of the English “Robert Barclay” in making England’s first rotary offset lithograph and received a patent, then the technical development that has been attached to it American paper maker and printer “Ira Ruble”. Then study the stages of the spread of flat art sellers from Munich, Germany To the rest of the world, such as France, England and Russia, until it reached America in (1818), until the technical development in flat printing reached color lithography, which It is strange in its application In many respects in lithography monochrome, has try the artist “Alois Senefelder” During the early nineteenth century, polychrome lithography, and color techniques in printing began to develop, as he made several attempts to produce color lithographic copies, and he succeeded “Senefelder” Already in the production of some color copies in (1809).
