Abstract

Age of participants ranged from 2 to 18 years. The assessment was conducted for the participants at least six months after getting the transplantation done.
Pre and postoperative pelviabdominal U/S were used to check kidney status.
Complete physical examination was done focusing on weight & height percentiles, vital signs particularly the respiratory rate, heart rate, and blood pressure percentiles, abdominal examination for assessment of renal enlargement if any, signs of chronic renal dysfunction including pallor, puffiness, edema and newly evolved bone deformities.
Our primary outcome was to determine the incidence of renal dysfunction among pediatric LT recipients using more sensitive and reliable renal function assessment approaches. While the secondary outcome was to determine the risk factors of renal dysfunction.
