Abstract
Cancer is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell division and growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body, possible signs and symptoms include a lump , abnormal bleeding, prolonged cough, un explained weight loss, and a change in bowel movements.
There are many types of cancers classified according to cell type that the tumor cells resemble and are therefore presumed to be the origin of the tumor which are carcinomas which begins in the skin or the tissue that covers the surface of internal organs and glands, sarcomas begins in the tissues that support and connect the body, leukemias is a cancer of the blood and lymphomas.
There are many treatments of cancer including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, hormonal therapy and treatment with natural products ( plants , microbial sources and marine products). Used treatments are depending on the type , location , and grade of the cancer.
