Abstract

”The liver helps maintain balance metabolic processing of dietary amino acids, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and cholesterol, eliminating toxins, producing blood clotting factors, and storing glycogen. Liver injury is associated with increase in acute and chronic inflammatory cells that impair liver function through decreased blood flow, causing fibrosis. The carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) leads to liver toxicity through the interactions of cytochrome P450 and production of free radicals that oxidize the fats of hepatocytes and their death. Oxidative processes are considered one of the main causes of liver poisoning from carbon tetrachloride. The antioxidant activity and inhibiting the production of free radicals is important protecting liver cells. Silymarin, spirulina algae, propolis, which contains a high percentage of essential nutrients and flavonoids that have the ability to Dismantling oxide and peroxide cracks, preventing lipid peroxidation, and playing an important role in elimination of free radical
