Abstract This study was carried out at two stages; the first one was laboratory investigations that preparing and evaluating the fish silage, the second was a field study carried out at a private commercial farm under supervision of Animal Production Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, during the period from July to August 2021 to investigate the effect of replacing soybean protein meal (SPM) by fish silage protein meal (FSPM) at a replacement rate of 10, 20, and 30% on growth performance, physiological status and economic efficiency of broiler chickens. The preparation, evaluation and chemical analysis of fish silage were performed in the Laboratory of National Company for Fishery & Aquaculture (NCFA) – Ghalioun - Egypt. |
