Abstract
After studding the comparison between the using of monopolar diathermy and ligaSureTM in laparoscopic appendectomy in points of operative bleeding, applying drain, conversion rate, operative time and post-operative fever, hospital stay, port site infection, analgesics, bleeding, patient satisfaction, cost effectiveness, we found that there is no significant difference between the two studied groups in all points except in operative time and cost effectiveness.
