The purpose of this research is to identify the artistic and architectural features of the sanctuary during the New Kingdom in terms of traditional scenes and distinction between them and the new ones. The researcher has been studied in the eighteenth dynasty (The sanctuary of the red chapel of Queen Hatshepsut), and in the twentieth dynasty (the sanctuary of Ramses III temple).This Thesis includes an introduction and three chapters, the first chapter is entitled “The sanctuary of god Amun-Ra in the red chapel of Queen Hatshepsut at Karnak” , includes his architectural planning and distribution of scenes inside it and an explanation of the scenes with translation of its texts. the second chapter is entitled “The sanctuary of god Amun-Ra in Ramses III temple”, includes his architectural planning and distribution of scenes inside it and an explanation of the scenes with translation of its texts. the third chapter entitled “Analytical Study”, in which all the scenes depicted on the inner walls of the sanctuary were analyzed to identify the offerings and rituals offered by the kings for the god Amun-Ra, and make comparison tables. Then conclusion includes the most important results and general features concludeded by the study of scenes and texts of the sanctuary of the god Amun-Ra, then a catalog.
