Abstract

Grapes (Vitis vinifera, L) is considered as one of the most popular and favorite fruit crops in the world. in Egypt reached 196,993 feddans and the productive area is 178,323
feddans and produced about 1,686,706 tons.Barrani grapevine is one of the cultivars grown in Matrouh Governorate, especially in Sedi-Barrani. The total area of grapes in Matrouh
reached 11,489 feddans according to 2017 statistics (Central Agency for Public
Mobilization and Statistics, 2017). Grapevines in Sedi Barrani were not subjected to any kind of regular management except elimination of the dry arms or cutting off the one year
old shoots. So that the main objective of this research is to study the effect of organic, bio and nano-fertilizers on vegetative growth, leaf chemical content, petiole mineral content,
yield and fruit quality of Barrani grapevines.
The present study was carried out during two consecutive seasons of 2018 and 2019
on 15 years old grapevines cv. Barrani. The vines grown in a private orchard located at Sedi-Barrani district, Matrouh governorate, Egypt. The selected vines were planted in sandy loam soil under rainfed agriculture conditions and spaced at 5×5 meters between
vines and rows. The experimental design was randomized complete blocks design (RCBD) with 8 treatments (4 replicates / treatment). Every replicate consisted of one vine which received one of the following treatments :
1. Control (without fertilization )
2. Organic fertilizer (compost)
3. Bio fertilizer (nitroben + phosphorin +patassiumag)
4. Nano fertilizer (hyperfeed)
5. Org. + bio fertilizers (compost + nitroben + phosphorin +patassiumag)
6. Org. + nano fertilizers (compost + hyperfeed )
7. Bio. + nano fertilizers (nitroben + phosphorin +patassiumag + hyperfeed)
8. Org. + bio + nano fertilizers (compost + nitroben + phosphorin +patassiumag +
hyperfeed)
Data obtained in this study could be summarized as follows:
I. Results dealing with the effect of organic, bio. and nano fertilizers on vegetative
growth:
All fertilization treatments significantly improved the vegetative growth compared with control. The treatment org + bio + nano fertilizers gave the best value of vegetative growth
parameters: bud opening rate, growth rate, vine height (cm), average of shoots length (cm), number of shoots, leaf area )cm
2), leaf fresh weight (g), leaf dry weight (g) and pruning
wood weight (kg).
