Medicinal and aromatic plants nowadays occupy a great position in Egyptian agricultural production, and they receive great care in many countries that produce them. Medicinal and aromatic plants have been used by humans throughout the ages for various purposes. The importance of medicinal and aromatic plants has been evident in the treatment of many diseases that afflict humans, as they are included in many food industries as preservatives, flavors and aperitifs, in addition to the new ones that are consumed in the form of Energizing or soothing drinks.
The problem of the study was represented in: Despite the economic importance of medicinal and aromatic plants, whether they were produced for export as raw materials or manufactured, and despite the suitable environment available to them in Egypt for the production of many of their types throughout the year, which is supposed to increase the competitiveness production of a medicinal and aromatic plant, but these crops suffer from a small production volume compared to the available capabilities, which is followed by a shrinkage in exports from these crops
