Abstract

A long time ago, a lot of experiments and researches were done to measure discharge.Although there were all these experimental and theoretical studies for discharge measurements by using free over fall from smooth inverted semicircular channels was not completely answered. So in this research free overfall at the end of an open channel(Brink)provides a simple means for measuring flow discharge. A brink phenomenon is a method for measuring discharge. The measuring of discharge by this method will be easy without expensive cost by using other sets.
