المستخلص

Agricultural development is considered as one of the main entrances to economic development, and this is confirmed by the experiences of all developed countries that the development of agriculture and rural areas is the real entrance to achieving the goal of comprehensive development for societies, regardless of the stage they are going through and the programs used to achieve this goal.To develop individuals working in the agricultural sector in general, and to spread the proper use of sugar cane production and marketing in particular, we should focus on general and specialized extension programs, whose main focus is the needs and interests of those individuals targeted by this extension service, and to ensure their accurate implementation through the preparation of professional and non-professional cadres managed from agricultural extension workers, given that agricultural extension is a joint work in which the efforts of each of the professionals are integrated in an organized cooperation to achieve previously agreed upon goals. In front of the community and assisted in this by agricultural extension agents and local leaders, one of their main tasks is to work on spreading new ideas and practices among farmers to adopt them. To touch the requirements and problems of acceptance and implementation, and to provide mentors with them, and other solutions; the necessary needs of farmers and their participation in planning and implementing extension programs, transferring their costs, and increasing their effectiveness in bringing about desired behavioral changes.
