Abstract
The aim of the present study was to compare the esthetic result and stability of gingival tissue over the immediate implant only and immediate implant with connective tissue graft in patients with single non-restorable tooth in the esthetic zone.
• Research question:
In adult patients with single non-restorable tooth in the esthetic zone , will the addition of connective tissue graft in conjunction with immediate implants versus immediate implants alone result in better pink esthetic score , enhanced tissue biotype and , increased keratinized mucosa width?
• Null hypothesis:
The main null hypothesis to be tested is that the addition of SCTG to immediately placed implants will not significantly differ from immediately placed implant alone as regard gingival tissue stability.
PICOTS
Patient / Population:
Adult patients with non-restorable single tooth in the esthetic zone.
Intervention:
Connective tissue graft and immediate implant placement.
Control/ Comparator:
Immediate implant replacement only without the addition of connective tissue graft
