Abstract One month to 18 year children aged, fulfillment of criteria of the diagnosis and management of disseminated intravascular coagulation(FDP, 2017) that admitted in Assiut university children Hospital . -With mean age 2.73 years and (83.8%) of cases less than 3 years and (12.5%) of cases more than nine years. As regard gender there were (68.8%) of cases were male. -There were (25%) of patients had vomiting, also there were (21.25%) of patients had diarrhea. As regard there were (11.25%) of patients had colostomy +imperforate anus and (10%) of cases had jaundice and portal vein thrombosis. - The Classification of DIC in study group. About massive bleeding: There were (31.5%) of cases had fresh blood per rectum, and (46.25%) of cases had hematemesis. As regard about non symptomatic types or minimal bleeding: there were (53.75%) of cases had Hematuria, also there were (21.25%) of cases had Petechiae. -About bleeding type in study group. There were (97.5%) of cases had general bleeding and (51.2%) of cases had oozing from puncture. -About Organ Failure in study group. There were (78.8%) of cases had Prusisi . - There were (100%) of patients had Complete blood count with blood smear examination, also there were (91.3%) of patients had Prothrombin time & concentration and (46.3%) of patients had Fibrinogen blood test- Treatment in study group and comparing with British Committee for Standards in Hematology (BCSH). There were (86.3%) had blood transfusion, (90.0%) had plasma transfusion and (17.5%) Anticoagulant drug heparin or tranexamic acid (TXA), also there were (3.8%) of patients had taken novo seven. |
