Abstract

This study was applied in the Department of Fish Diseases and Management in two main steps:
• The first step: field study was applied during summer, from March 2019 to October 2019, water samples and 641 randomly collected naturally diseased tilapia fish samples with variable sizes (from 20 to 400gm) were collected from 42 private fish farms along the Nile Delta. This field study aimed to determine the main bacterial diseases that were caused the tilapia summer mortality syndrome by using the molecular diagnosis in the identification of the isolated bacteria.
• The second step: Two experimental studies were applied to investigate the therapeutic (for 15 days) and prophylactic effect of Formic acid and Florfenicol against A. veronii for (60 days).
