The current study aimed to know the effectiveness of a proposed program based on educational games in treating the difficulties of distinguishing between the solar lam and the lunar lam, and between the letters that are pronounced and not written among the second grade students.
To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher prepared: a list of the difficulties of distinguishing between the solar lam and the lunar lam, a list of the difficulties of distinguishing between letters that are pronounced and not written, a list of the specifications of the educational games necessary for the proposed program, the test of distinguishing between the solar lam and the lunar lam among students of the second grade of primary school, the discrimination test between letters that is pronounced and not written; To measure the initial level of the students in the study sample; measure the effectiveness of the proposed program; where the test was applied before and after, and after applying the program, the results can be summarized as follows:
- The poor level of pupils in distinguishing between the solar lam and the lunar lam.
- The poor level of students in distinguishing between letters that are pronounced and not written.
- The effectiveness of the proposed program in treating the difficulties of distinguishing between the solar lam and the lunar lam and distinguishing between letters that are pronounced and not written.
