Abstract
The study aimed to assess women’s reaction regarding different types of harassment Design: Descriptive design was used. Setting: the main health center of 10th Ramadan city. Sample: purposive sample was used. Tools: Tool 1: a structured interviewing questionnaire sheet. Tool II: Likert scale; to assess woman’s reaction regarding harassment. Results:, more than two fifth of the studied women there age ranged between 20<30years old and was had secondary education, As regard total reaction majority of the studied women had negative reaction regarding harassment Also, there was positive correlation between total knowledge of the studied women and their total reactions regarding harassment, also there was statistical significant relation between occupation & household income and studied women reaction regarding harassment. Conclusion: one third of the studied women there reaction during harasment was anger and distress using facial features and more than one half of this reaction after harassment was selfdepression. There was no statistical significant relation between harassment &types of harassment and women reaction. Recommendation: Increase health education through mass media about harassment knowledge, attitude and practices and methods of protection. Further studies should stress investigating the: Effect of harassment on Women’s quality of life. 2- Study of the factors associated with harassment among women .
