This study aims to provide a proposed framework for performance evaluation that helps in increasing the effectiveness of the performance evaluation of the facility through the integration between Business Intelligence (BI) and the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) to get benefit from the advantages of both of them. BI collects data from inner systems and outer sources which analyse and transform it to information. BI supplies BSC measurement with the information to evaluate and measure facility performance by its different dimensions. Then BI displays and interprets evaluation results to decision makers visually. In order to achieve this goal, the researcher conducted a case study on one of the Egyptian telecommunications companies to evaluate its performance using the integration between business intelligence and the balanced scorecard by designing an electronic program for the balanced scorecard that depends on its inputs on business intelligence tools and compared its results with the results of its current performance evaluation. The study concluded that there is an effect of the integration between business intelligence and the balanced scorecard on the effectiveness of evaluating the performance of the enterprise.
