Abstract Two pot experiments were conduct during the two consecutive summer seasons of 2016 and 2017 in Floriculture Unit of Hort. Dept., Fac. Agric., Mansoura Univ., Egypt, to study the effect of mineral fertilization levels and some foliar spray applications (dry yeast extract or/ and ascorbic acid) as well as their interaction treatments on plant growth parameters, flowering traits and chemical constituents of Arabian plants (Jasminum sambac, Ait.) plant. This experiment included 16 treatments, which were the interactions between four NPK (at ratio of 9:59:8, respectively) fertilization levels (0.0, 1.0, 1.5 and 2 g/l) and four foliar application treatments (spraying with active dry yeast at 0.50 g/ L, ascorbic acid at 150 ppm and yeast + ascorbic acid, beside control treatment which sprayed with tap water) to enhance the plant growth, flowering parameters, and total chlorophyll content of Arabian jasmine (Jasminum sambac, Ait.) plant. from results, The best treatment was to spray Arabian plants with using active dry yeast at 0.50 g/l + ascorbic acid at 150 ppm with high NPK fertilization level (2.0 g/l) to enhance the plant growth, flowering parameters, and total chlorophyll content of Arabian jasmine (Jasminum sambac, Ait.) plant. |
