Abstract

Nanotechnology introduced many nanomaterials in cancer treatment and diagnosis.Among them, zinc oxide nanoparticles(ZnO NPs)which gain huge interest in cancer treatment.Although there are many nanoparticles showed antitumor activity, they still need much development to be accepted in the treatment and diagnosis fields. This can be achieved by understanding how the nanoparticles exert their toxic effect against the cancer cells.
