Abstract
The main purpose of this thesis is to understand more about the structures and stratigraphy of this field by using seismic reflection data, well logging data and the available subsurface geological data.To achieve this target the current study started with the description of the geological setting of the area, including the structure and the stratigraphic sequence through a review for the previous geological studies. Then 3D seismic data interpretation of the available seismic data to construct time and depth structure maps of top of the levels: Desouqy Formation and Safa Member. The 3D seismic data interpretation was done by using Petrel (3D seismic Data Interpretation Software).Fault patterns play an important role in the hydrocarbon potentialities of the area.
