Title of the Thesis: The Effectiveness of a Program Based on some Manual and Technical Skills in Developing the Nutritional Awareness of a Kindergarten Child Research Aim: Developing the nutritional awareness of the kindergarten child by using a program of some technical and manual skills Research sample: The current research was limited to a group of (60) children of the second level of kindergarten from (5-6) years affiliated to the Ministry of Education. The program was applied to (30) boys and girls in the Kindergarten of Al-Qadi Bakkar Primary School in the first term of the academic year (2020-2021). Research Methodology: The researcher used the quasi-experimental approach based on the design of the two groups, one experimental and the other control. Research tools: To achieve the goal of the study, the following tools were prepared:A list of defining the concepts of nutritional awareness with its sub-concepts that can be developed for the kindergarten child.Testing the concepts of nutritional awareness for the kindergarten child.Activities to develop the concepts of nutritional awareness for the kindergarten child using some technical and manual skills.Results: The research resulted in the following: There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of children (the experimental group) in the two applications (pre- and post-) to test the concepts of pictorial nutritional awareness in favor of the post application. There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the control group in the two applications (pre- and post-) to test the concepts of pictorial nutritional awareness There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the children of the two groups (experimental and control) in the post application of the pictorial nutritional awareness test in favor of the experimental group.This proves the effectiveness of a program based on some manual and technical skills in developing the nutritional awareness of the kindergarten child Keywords: technical and manual skills - nutritional awareness - kindergarten child.
