The study examined the public-private partnership (PPP) system in its various dimensions, and analyzing the factors and determinant affecting its effectiveness in carrying out infrastructure and public services projects, in the light of the fact that since 2006 the Egyptian State has developed a new long-term policy to activate the partnership with the private sector with a view to expanding and increasing investment in infrastructure projects, Through the establishment of the Central Partnership Unit in the Ministry of Finance, And the issuance of the Private Sector Participation Act No. 67 of 2010 and its Regulation No. 238 of 2011 have prompted the private sector to increase its contribution to these projects, Accordingly, the main question of this study is how public-private partnership as a strategic choice in the area of infrastructure and services projects can achieve sustainable development in the Egyptian economy.
