Abstract
The Mediterranean Sea is a semi–enclosed Sea. It is surrounded by many industrial nations and tourist countries. The movements of its water with what it contains represent important problems if it contains any type of harmful materials or pollutants particularly in coastal zone. It is very important for any successful marine operation and coastal resources management. Coastal current plays a very important role in all coastal projects and in handling pollution problem, particularly those resulting from oil spills. Many authors in many countries in addition to several organizations and authorities participated in many studies on the sea.
