Abstract
One of the central features of schizophrenia is cognitive impairment.Mismatch negativity(MMN)is a negative component of the auditory event-related potential(ERP),which may be indicative of the neural mechanisms of cognitive dysfunction that occur in patients with schizophrenia.This study was designed to evaluate tone and speech
discrimination in schizophrenic patients using mismatch negativity test.
