Abstract Purpose: to evaluate both clinically and radiographically the efficacy of twopoint fixation in monobloc zygomatic complex fractures via intraoral approach.Patients and methods: this is a non-controlled interventional clinical trial carried out on twelve patients with isolated monobloc zygomatic complex fractures collected from the department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery,Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University. CT scans were required to assess the hard tissue trauma. Postoperative evaluation: all patients underwent regular followup for three months. Parameters evaluated: a. Exposure site & accessibility, b. Healing & postoperative complications, c. Infraorbital nerve function & paresthesia, d. Postoperative stability, e. Patient satisfaction. |
