ثانيا : ملخص الدراسة باللغة الانـجليزية
First: Introduction to the study problem:
Tourism is considered one of the important areas in recent times in Egyptian society because of its great role in the comprehensive development process economically, socially and psychologically, and the field of tourism and its various service activities and its relationship to comprehensive development have become the interest of many economists, geographers, sociologists and psychologists because tourism has become a social demand Because it expresses a human desire to move and travel, and this is a continuous characteristic of the human being. It also opens the field of work for young people and thus helps in gradually solving the problem of unemployment.
It is also an economic requirement because it contributes to increasing the urban tide, planning tourist cities, crossing roads and their development, investing available economic resources and using environmental or local resources in manufacturing popular products that help attract tourists and thus raise the income levels of families based on the manufacture of these products. Accordingly, tourism has become They constitute an important source of national income .
There are many factors that helped to increase the importance of the role that tourism plays at the present time, represented in the rapid development of transportation and transportation, as well as technological progress in many areas.
Based on the foregoing, tourism is related to development as it is one of the sectors that contribute to achieving it. Therefore, the performance of the two workers had to be continuously developed to achieve maximum benefit from workers in the tourism sector to achieve development .
And based on the importance of professional performance, theoretical statements emphasized the necessity of paying attention to professional performance, reducing its obstacles related to the lack of capabilities and capabilities of workers in all institutions, measuring the final return for that, and confirming the improvement of the performance of workers in all service and institutional organizations .
In order to develop performance, it was necessary to use modern technology due to the great development in information technology. Official and private institutions are competing to use the latest innovations in the administrative field. The emergence of the Internet also helped make it more effective in doing business .
Information technology and knowledge are considered the main pillar for the progress and growth of societies and raising the standard of living, through which the economy is transferred to a high growth path based on high-tech industries.
As the emergence of the Internet led to an advanced leap and rapid shift in the field of communication for members of society, as well as a treasure trove of information for humanity, and according to awareness of this fact, foreign and Arab governments hastened to move positively towards electronic management .
Electronic management is a new type of management that leaves its broad implications on the administration, its strategy and functions, and electronic management is the newest school in administration, which is based on the use of the Internet and all modern technological devices in the fulfillment of the administration’s functions of planning, organizing, and monitoring.
Second: The importance of the study:
1- Electronic management is important, as it receives the attention of all countries and peoples, because it is a sign of development and progress.
2- Employees in the tourism sector using electronic management contribute to the development of professional performance.
3-Electronic management is an important tool in developing working methods within any sector.
4- Tourism is also an important economic sector that contributes to improving national income.
5 - The need to raise the efficiency of professional performance working in such sectors due to their importance in society.
Third: The objectives of the study: -
1- Determine the nature of using the electronic management application to develop professional performance in the tourism sector.
2- Determine the benefits of implementing electronic management in the tourism sector.
3- Determine the means used for electronic management to develop the professional performance of workers in the tourism sector.
4-Identifying obstacles to the application of electronic management that transform the development of the professional performance of workers in the tourism sector.
5- Identifying proposals that help to overcome obstacles to the application of electronic management, which transform the development of the professional performance of workers in the tourism sector .
Fourth: Study questions
1- What is the nature of using the electronic management application?
2- What are the benefits of implementing electronic management in the tourism sector?
3- What are the means used for electronic management in the tourism sector?
4- What are the obstacles that transform the application of electronic management that transform the development of the professional performance of workers in the tourism sector?
5- What are the proposals that help in overcoming the obstacles to implementing electronic management that transform the development of the professional performance of workers in the tourism sector?
Fifth: Study concepts: The study dealt with a set of the following basic concepts
1- The concept of electronic management
2- The concept of professional performance
3- The concept of tourism
Sixth: The Methodological procedures of the study:
1-Type of study: The current study belongs to one of the types of research studies, which is descriptive study
2-The used method: the social survey method for the sample
3-Study tools: The current study relied on using the following tools:
A- A questionnaire applied to workers in the tourism sector
B- A semi-codified interview guide applied to experts in the field of tourism
4-Fields of study
A- The human domain: The present study has to been applied:
1. The random sample of workers in the tourism sector and the number 62
2- An intentional sample of 10 experts and officials in the field of tourism
B-The Place domain : The measure was implemented in the Mallawi Museum, the General Authority for the Promotion of Tourism in Minya, the Tourism Department at the General Office in Minya, and the Supreme Council of Antiquities (Middle Egypt Antiquities) in Minya
C-Time domain : Data were collected from the field during the period 20 /11/2021 to 20/12/2021
5-Results of the study:
A-The results of the study showed that the nature of using electronic management for workers in the tourism sector is:
- stimulating the use of the Internet
- The use of administrative decentralization to facilitate access to information
- Using modern technology to record data
- The existence of a website for the organization
- The existence of a link between the organization’s network and the Internet
B-The results of the study indicated that the most important benefits of electronic management are:
-Reducing dependence on paper worker
- less prone to mistakes
- organization of work
- Enter a lot of data
-Prompt arrival of directives from superiors to subordinate
- Upgrading the administrative skills of workers
- Submit the assigned work as soon as possible
- Spreading the culture of electronic administrative work among workers
- Provide information on the performance of employees
- Transparency in dealing
- Increase the efficiency of administrative work
C- The results of the study indicated that the electronic management means are represented in the following phrases:
- The contribution of electronic management programs to increasing efficiency and reducing costs
- Acquistion clients a variety of media such as websites - and the means of social communication
- Get answers to basic questions such as: the number of tourists and the most visited places
- These programs help to know more about customers and meet their needs
- These programs work to get rid of data redundancy
D- The results of the study indicated that the most important obstacles to electronic management are represented in the following statements:
- lack of awareness of the importance of electronic management
- Weak electronic data security
- - Lack of specialists in information technology
- The lack of a specialized trainer to work on the programs to train employees
- The high cost of creating a strong, non-hackable network infrastructure
- Lack of funds for modern applications
- Resistance of some departmental employees to change
E-The results of the study showed that the most important proposals to overcome the obstacles that prevent the application of electronic management are the following phrases
- Provide electronic security for data
- Increasing the officials ’interest in the importance of electronic management
- Developing the employees’ English language skills to serve the use of electronic management programs
- Spreading the culture of electronic administrative work among workers
- - Follow-up to modern technological developments constantly
- Continuous and intensive training for workers in light of the rapid technological progress
- Providing the necessary administrative competencies for electronic management
- Providing the necessary financial support
- Motivate employees to change
