The learning strategy to mastery is one of the important teaching strategies as its features emphasize the learner’s understanding of the nature of the task that he will learn and which he will continue to teach by dividing the curriculum into educational units and small lessons, and providing tests during each educational lesson and at the end with providing appropriate feedback to correct learners’ mistakes and difficulties. Which faces them after each test with the appropriate time to learn, within the normal time.
Salah El-Din Arafa (2004AD) states that the learning strategy in order to be able is focused on making most pupils reach a high level of achievement, as it depends on making the discrepancy a little theoretical among the pupils by providing special feedback and learning techniques and by giving the pupils who need that feeding extra time to They reach the level of mastery required of them in the scientific material.(15 :191)
Yildiran (2006AD) points out that learning to be able is done by providing students with well-organized educational units that have predetermined goals. The student is not allowed to move from one educational unit to another until after he reaches the required level of mastery and if the student is unable to reach To the required level, a substance or therapeutic materials are prepared for him to help him reach this level of mastery.(46 : 166)
And through the researcher’s briefing on the physical education curriculum for the middle school, it was found that the football unit is taught in three months and also the teacher’s guide does not have educational units suitable for the time period for teaching the football unit.
