Summary:
The symbolic in selections of Egyptian Folk Heritage Songs it in Contemporary Painting.
Symbolism in Some selected Egyptian Folk Songs and its Applications in Creating Contemporary Visual Art Paintings.
This study’s research question is: How can we use the symbolism embodied in some selected Egyptian folk songs to create contemporary visual art paintings?
The study’s objectives include:
1- Recognizing how folk songs are phrased and the words they use.
2- Developing visual art paintings through considering the symbols in those songs.
The researcher argues the necessity of having a positive relationship between symbols in folk songs and the introduction of visual art. The study, in addition, presents a personal experiment to fulfill its objectives and test the validity of its hypotheses.

Symbolism is a major element in literary and artistic works.
