Abstract
The aim of this study was to assess the efficacy of four scoring systems APACHE II, PSS, REMS and SOFA) for outcome prediction in acute OP poisoned cases The present prospective cohort study was conducted throughout the period from the first of August 2019 to the end of July 2020 on 100 Egyptian patients with acute OP poisoning admitted to Tanta University Poison Control Center (TUPCC Cases of both genders aged 18 years or more with acute OP poisoning admitted to TUPCC within 24 hours from exposure were included in the present study Diagnosis of acute OP poisoning was based on history, clinical picture symptoms and signs), improvement of symptoms and signs after treatment with atropine and oximes (toxogonin) and decreased serum cholinesterase level.
