Abstract
This study aimed to determine the withdrawal time of the drug (HPLC). The experiment was conducted on 24 rabbits that were randomly divided in 2 groups 12 control injected with distelled water and 12 injected with BPQ intramuscularly by dose 2.5mg/kg ,at 7th,14th, 30th and 42nd day three from each group blood samples were taken without anticoagulant then slaughtered and samples were taken from liver ,kidney and muscle.
The results of this experiment can be summarized into the following:-
1-Widespread distribution of BPQ in different tissue samples liver ,kidney muscle and serum .
2-Highest concentration was detected in liver tissue at 7th day.
3- Detectable levels of BPQ residues in liver, kidney and muscle were higher than limit of detection .
4- by 42nd day safe consumption of rabbit muscle and kidney but not the liver tissues .
5- Inspite of presence of BPQ residues in different rabbit tissues but it did not show sever effect on different biochemical investigations .
