Abstract The aim of this study is to improve the impact strength of GPPS and its elongation at break percentage and induced ductility to the prepared nanocomposites by the help of elastic material HDPE-g-MA and in order to prevent the reduction in the tensile strength and modulus of elasticity of the polystyrene nanocomposites, three different loadings of nano calcium carbonate (1,2 and 4 wt. %) were used as filler. Nanocomposites preparation was performed in a single screw injection-moulding machine. |
