Abstract

1- Transcutaneous Vagus nerve stimulation (t-VNS) was effective in reducing THI score denoting reduced handicap in patients with mild to moderate sensorineural hearing loss complaining of tinnitus.
2- Neither any of the characteristics of participants (including gender, educational level, occupation or audiometric configuration ) nor any of the disease characteristics of these participants (including affected side or etiology) was associated with better outcome .
3- Irrespective of age or tinnitus duration , t-VNS could induce its effect in improving tinnitus complaint.
