Abstract Renal failure is a real and growing problem which is commonly managed by hemodialysis.Venous access related infection is a leading complication.It leads to higher morbidity and mortality in hemodialysis patients and escalate health care costs and hospitalization period.The aim of our work was to evaluate the prevalence of vascular access infection and possible etiological factors as well as common causative organisms and the proper antibiotics that can be used for the treatment. |
