Abstract

Tho investigations was carried out during 2015 & 2016 growing seasons on Arra 15 and 20 grapevines grown in sandy soil under drip irrigation in a private vineyard located at Tabark Farm, Ismailia Governorate, Egypt. The experiments were designed and evaluate the effects of foliar spray with different levels of amino acid and seaweed extract on vegetative growth, yield, quality and chemical constituent of Arra 15 20 grapvine cultivars the treatments sprayed four times at growth start after flowering (first. of April), just after berry setting (mid. of April) then at one-month later (mid. of May) and at two weeks later (last of May).
The obtained results showed that Arra 15 Cv grapevines displayed the higher effect in most cases of their tested attributes compared with Arra 20 CV vines. On the contrary, Arra 20 Cv grapevines was high significantly cluster width (cm), cluster round (cm), yield per vine per feddan, fruit physical and chemical characteristics compared with Arra 15 Cv grapevines.
Spray Arra 15 and 20 Cv grapevines of seaweed 0.5 g/L and amino acids 0.5 g/L had an obvious promotion of vegetative growth, cluster characteristics, as well as increas yield per vine or per feddan and improve fruit quality compared with control treatment.
Conclusively, from result of this research, it is recommend that spraying of seaweed 0.5 g/L with amino acid 0.5 g/L, four times, at growth start after flowering (first. of April), just after berry setting (mid. of April), then, at one month later (mid. of May) and at two weeks later (last of May) improved the vegetative growth, cluster characteristics and increasing fruit yield as well as enhanced fruit quality of grapevine Cv.
