Abstract

Cardiopulmonary arrest is the final result of many diseases, during cardiac arrest, the heart stops beating and blood stops flowing to the body’s vital organs. Without medical attention, the person will die within minutes (1).
Therefore, need for a careful implementation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) protocols in these cases is undeniably important (2)
The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation says about nine out of 10 people with this kind of cardiac arrest will die(4).
Over the last fifty years early detection of cardiac arrest and CPR have saved lives of hundreds of thousands of people worldwide, which indicates the importance of research on this specific topic(2).
