Abstract

Summary and Conclusion Hysteroscopy is considered the gold standard for evaluating and detecting diseases of the uterine cavity, it is simple, safe and can be performed in an outpatient setting, as we enable direct vision of the uterine cavity and thus it is considered the first diagnostic method in cases of primary and secondary infertility, cases of recurrent miscarriage and cases of repeated IVF failure. With the use of a hysteroscopy using solutions, a swelling of the lining is observed in the early reproductive stage, and thus it becomes irregularly thick and pale, in addition to the presence of small fleshy growths (less than 1 mm). chronic endometritis is an underlying condition that may lead to infertility. Although it is related to infertility and recurrent miscarriage, it is often asymptomatic and therefore it is rarely expected clinically. But sometimes it is accompanied by some simple changes such as vaginal bleeding , minor pelvic pain or vaginal secretions. Although endometritis is not clinically clear, it may impede reproductive competence in the IVF cycle. Moreover, there is strong evidence that endometritis may lead to a premature spontaneous birth. Due to the hidden nature of the disease, the prevalence of this disease in the population is unknown, with estimates ranging from 0.8% to 19%.
