Abstract

The region of South Egypt is one of the governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and in particular the governorates of South Upper Egypt (tribal face), bordered by the north by Assiut governorate and bordered by the south by Qena governorate and bordered by the east by the Red Sea governorate, and bordered by the new Wadi Governorate, about 467 kilometers away from the Egyptian capital Cairo, and the Nile River penetrates this governorate into two sections: Eastern and West. Located between 32 33’ 26” north latitude and 44 41’ 031” east longitude, total area 11022 km2, 125 km long, 25_16 km wide, inhabited area 92,1593km2, 5.14% of the total area of the province. It has 12 centers, 13 cities, 5 departments, 51 main villages, 270 subvillages, 1445 single and N’Gawaa and has no fowl because it is not close to the sea coast. The message consisted of four chapters that were preceded by an introduction to the study in general, followed by a list of references and sources and a summary of the message, and the methodological order was as follows: Message Introduction The subject was presented, the reasons for choosing the subject, the reasons for selecting the study area, the methods and techniques used in the study, the previous studies. an illustrative study and a brief historical perspective on Egyptian censuses, the tools used to collect data on the 1996, 2006, 2017 census were presented and the development of census preparations and how to implement it, follow-up to field survey and field work was shown. The most important thing about this chapter is that Egypt is fully prepared to use tablets in the coming censuses and to establish an infrastructure in preparation for any technological progress that will be followed later in the future. An important of concerned with the practical aspect of the study, where the role of geographic information systems in the production of a spatial number of buildings and units has been highlighted and circulated throughout the Republic to prevent their replication and the transformation of the State into a digital state, the importance of the network division has also been studied until the completion of the state administrative boundary problem and the detailed methods that will be followed in the preparation and implementation of inventories and enumerations have been explained in the importance of the use of the use of the country’s spatial data.
