Abstract First part reported the synthesis of hybrid molecules containing coumarin and benzimidazole moieties by using ethyl 7-hydroxycoumarin-3-carboxylate as a key starting material. Anti-breast cancer activity of the synthesized compounds was reported. Second part includes the synthesis of hybrid molecules containing coumarin and pyrazole moieties by using pyrazole-3,5-dione. The breast cancer cell line MCF‐7 was utilized in the evaluation of the cytotoxic activity of the prepared molecules. Third part revealed the synthesis of novel coumarin derivatives by using ethyl 8-hydroxycoumarin-3-carboxylate. All the prepared compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxicity against human hepatocellular liver carcinoma HepG2 cell line. |
