Abstract VII-Summary and Conclusion The present work was performed to study the effect of SMN on endocrine function of the testes before and after testicular damage in rats. The present work was carried on 40 male albino rats. The rats were divided into four groups, (10 rats for each). 1. Control group: They received 3ml carboxymethyelcellulose intraperitoneally daily for 6 weeks. 2. CYP -treated group: They received CYP in a dose of 100mg/kg only once intraperitoneally and complete the duration of six weeks by injection of carboxy methyel cellulose. (Xie .,et al 2018). 3. SMN-treated group: rats received SMN in a dose of 200mg/kg intraperitoneally once per day for 6weeks. (Yaman., et al 2018). 4. CYP+ SMN treated group: rats received CYP intraperitoneally in a dose of 100 mg/kg only once and then received SMN in a dose of 200 mg/kg once daily for 6 weeks. At the end of the experiment, the animals were anesthetized by diethyl ether, and then the animals were sacrificed by cervical decapitation. The collected blood samples will be centrifuged at 1000-2000 rpm for 10 minutes in order to obtain the serum.
