Abstract The present study aimed at developing students’ oral communication skills and Emotional intelligence using WebQuest for faculty of commerce students, English department, who are going to face workforce challenges as adults. The researcher used the quasi- experiment approach. Participants of the study were (24) students from the second year, English Department Faculty of Commerce students, Kafr El- Sheikh University. Instruments used in this study included an oral communication skills questionnaire, Students` needs analysis survey form, a Pre-post oral communication skills test (Prepared by the researcher), an oral communication skills scoring rubric (Adapted by the researcher from LeMoyne-Owen College, 2012), and a Pre-post emotional intelligence questionnaire (Felman & Mule, 2007). A course based on webquest was used to develop oral communication skills and emotional intelligence. In this study the one group pre/post- test was used. The experiment was carried out at the second semester in the academic year 2017/2018. The data collected were processed using (SPSS) version25.The results of the study indicate the effectiveness of using WebQuest for developing oral communication skills and emotional intelligence for the participants.
