Abstract The thesis dealt with the effect of the rapid solidified technique on the structure, the thermal and electrical properties of a group of aluminium-based alloys. The purpose of this study was to produce semiconductor alloy, which used a thermoelectric device and heavy bearing alloy for industrial applications and improve sliding bearing alloys used in marine and automotive. To verify this aim, we use the melt spinning technique to prepare five following systems: pure aluminum alloy(Al100) for calibration , Al100-X-SbX, (x=5,10,20,30,40,50 and 67 wt%), Al90-X-Sbx -In10 (x= 10 and 20 wt%),Al100-x-Pbx (x=5,10 and 20 wt%) and Al90-x-Pbx-Sn10 (x=10 and 20 wt%). |
