Abstract
The present study has been designed as an analytic cross-sectional study at the inpatient ward and outpatient clinic of the Chest Diseases Unit in Suez Canal University Hospital. The primary objectives of the study were to investigate the frequency of OSA among the studied COPD patients, evaluate predictive factors of OSA among COPD patients, compare between COPD patients with and without OSA regarding demographic, clinical and functional parameters, correlate between severity of OSA and demographic, clinical and functional parameters of COPD patients and to correlate the severity of COPD with OSA parameters.
