Abstract

Internet of things (IOT) became one of the most recent technologies in life which play an important role in connecting everything through a set of devices and sensors to make life easier for people. Also, IOT aims to create a set of smart environments, spaces, and self-aware things such as smart transport, products, cities, buildings, rural areas, energy, health, living for climate, food, energy, mobility, digital society, and health applications.
On the other hand, Semantic Web technologies add value to the IOT infrastructure by enriching the description of objects and resources. Despite the tremendous development in Internet things, it still has drawbacks that need to be improved to increase its efficiency and sustainability. Semantic Web is the web of data that is considered one of the most significant concepts in information technology nowadays. Semantic Web plays a major role in enriching the web content where it allows user’s data to be linked from a source to another to be later understood by machines
