Abstract The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of the Montessori Method on developing some EFL speaking and reading skills among kindergarteners. The present study followed the two groups (control and experimental) pre-post-test design. In this design the dependent variables are measured before and after the experiment for both groups were taught using Montessori Method. The results were statically analyzed by applying the t-test and findings revealed that there is statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental and the control group in post assessment in favor of the experimental group. The differences were due to the teaching of the proposed inversion. The study findings, it can be concluded that the proposed Montessori Method was effective in developing the EFL reading and speaking skills among kindergarteners. In terms of the study findings, appropriate recommendations and implications have been addressed. Key words: EFL speaking skills-EFL reading skills- Montessori Method. |
