Introduction and research problem:
Gymnastics is considered one of the sporting activities that have its
importance in the local and Olympic competitive field, and also one of
the activities that need a great effort in learning and mastering and a
remarkable development in the diversity of motor skills on various
devices in light of a set of information that helps to determine the
movement procedures required to be accomplished with the highest
possible efficiency The least effort and scientific information as a basis
related to the activity of the body with the availability of capabilities,
physical, skill and psychological specifications and capabilities that
distinguish them from other individual sports.(7: 4)
Gymnastics is considered one of the basic sports, as it contributes to
preparing players and developing their levels through exercises and
movements on equipment, and gymnastics is irreplaceable for all players
and their various sports activities.
Sports training is the main axis through which the desired goals can
be achieved, and one of its most important goals is to improve the
physical capabilities of players to the best possible, which called on
workers in the sports field to search in different training methods and
means because of their direct impact on the development of public and
private physical requirements, which in turn It positively affects the level
of the player skillfully. (246,245:36)
Many scientists agree that muscle strength is one of the most
important elements of physical fitness that helps the player to achieve
advanced levels of sport due to its impact on the development of other
elements, as it is considered an important and essential factor in the
ability to perform, and ”Okran” adds that muscle strength exercises play a

fundamental role In gymnastics, apparatus is not only important in its
own right but also as a prelude to performing gymnastics skills. (7: 25)
Auxiliary devices were designed as an effective way to learn some
skills in gymnastics, and he indicated the need to use the aids and devices
to help in developing physical characteristics, especially those specific to
gymnastics. (97: 7)
Therefore, it was necessary to search for ways to grow and develop
the elements of special fitness, which contributes to improving the level
of skill performance, and a so-called TRX outstanding training has
emerged, which refers to the fitness approach that uses a system of ropes
and ligaments called suspended exercises that allow the player to work
against its full weight With training.
It is a new way to train fitness, which has become popular during the
past few years, which focuses on using the entire human body weight in
its training, instead of using the devices that exist in the gyms. (86:53)
Bliss notes that TRX exercises depend on the strength of the body
and the weight of the person instead of relying on devices and weights to
develop strength, ability, flexibility, balance, neuromuscular
compatibility and strengthening the muscles (abdomen - thigh joint -
spine muscles) as they link the upper end and the limb Under the body,
the TRX training system is one of the most important new directions for
building healthy body strength and benefits all levels of fitness. (66:60)
Research objective:
This program aims to design a proposed training program using the
TRX resistance training and to identify its impact on:
1. The level of muscle strength represented by (shoulder girdle - arms -
torso - legs - abdomen - back).

2. The level of performance of some skills of the ground movements
device (hand rolling front - hand side front turn - Cartwheel - side flip
with a quarter roll).
Research hypotheses:
1. There are statistically significant assumptions between the mean of the
pre and post measurements of the research group in the level of
muscle strength of the arms, the shoulder straps, the trunk, and the
legs in favor of the mean after measurement.
There are statistically significant assumptions between the mean of
the pre and post measurements of the research group in the level of
performance of some of the skills of the ground movements device (front
roll of handstand Front Hand - side flip on the hands Cartwheel - side flip
with a quarter off round off).
Search procedures:
1 / Research Methodology:
The researcher used the experimental approach to its suitability to
the nature of the research through the experimental design of the single
experimental group, which depends on the pre-dimensional measurement
of the variables under research.
2 / Research sample:
The research sample was chosen intentionally by the students of the
Faculty of Physical Education at Aswan University, the fourth year for
technical gymnastics and rhythmic exercises, and the number of them (6)
students.

3 / Data collection tools and means:
Through the researcher’s readings of references and specialized
scientific research in the field of technical gymnastics training, the
researcher collected data by the following means:
1. Data collection forms
2. Some of the tools used in the research
 A device for measuring height and weight.
 A dynamometer to measure the strength of the legs muscles.
 A dynamometer to measure the strength of the back muscles.
 Mind system.
 A medical ball.
 Jumped ladder.
 Video camera.
 TRX device.
 2 iron chain for TRX suspension.
 5 mattresses, 5 cm high.
 Stop Watch.
 Ground movements device.
 Adhesive tapes on the floor.
 tape measure for distances.
Conclusions:
In the light of the aims of the research and its hypotheses, and within
the limits of the nature of the method used and the research sample and

based on statistical treatments and the results indicated by it, it is possible
to conclude the following:
1. The resistance training using the TRX apparatus, which includes many
and varied exercises in the proposed training program, had an effective
effect on increasing the average muscle strength of each of the
muscles (arms - legs - abdomen - back) in favor of the post
measurement of the experimental group.
2. The use of TRX resistance training also showed a noticeable
improvement in the students’ performance of the skills (Hand Stand
Front Roll - Side Flip at Cartwheel - Side Flip with Round Off) and
also improved the movement sentence on the floor movements device
where The dimensional measurement ratios are higher than the pre-test
ratios of the experimental group in the physical and skill variables.
Recommendations:
In light of what the researcher has done from the study and its
results, and based on the research method and means, the researcher
recommends the following:
1. Application of the proposed program for its effectiveness and positive
impact on the muscle strength represented by the arms, shoulder strap,
abdomen, back, and legs on female students specialized in technical
gymnastics.
2. Focusing on resistance training and resistance equipment when setting
up the training program because of its positive impact on the muscle
strength and physical capabilities of technical gymnastics.
3. The need to take care of students of specialization, technical
gymnastics through the preparation of training programs to develop

special physical abilities and the level of skill performance on various
gymnastics devices
4. Informing coaches of technical gymnastics in clubs at the level of the
Republic on the training program (under discussion) to benefit from it
in the training process.
5. Conducting similar research in the field of technical gymnastics
training at different age levels.
